Veestro partners with industry leaders to launch recipe collaboration series "Plants For The People"

Plant-Based Meal Delivery Program Taps Vegan Chefs and Influencers for Limited Edition Menu

(LOS ANGELES, CA) April 18, 2017 – Veestro, the leading gourmet, plant-based meal delivery service, today announces the launch of the Veestro’s Recipe Collaboration Series “Plants for the People.” A program designed to highlight and celebrate the leading chefs, experts and influencers in the plant-based space, Veestro’s 'Plants for the People' collaboration will introduce limited-edition dishes, produced in partnership with some of the most respected plant-based personalities.

The series kicks off in partnership with environmental lifestyle expert Danny Seo, Editor in Chief of Naturally, Danny Seo, who has built a dedicated following of conscious consumers. Seo will have two of his favorite dishes recreated in the Veestro kitchen and available on the menu at launch, Chocolate Cookie Cake and Indian Kamut Stew.

“Healthy eating is such a personal choice for many people. I've long been a personal advocate of plant-based diets and love the convenience and tastiness of Veestro. I'm excited to share some of my all-star recipes with Veestro so people who are either too busy to cook or simply don't love to cook have a chance to try recipes from the pages of "Naturally, Danny Seo" magazine,” notes Seo. “What's not to love about Veestro? It's like getting a home-cooked, organic meal sent right to your front door!”.”

“Plants for the People” is designed as an ongoing program, with upcoming collaborations to feature favorite foods from vegan celebrity chef and wellness expert Jason Wrobel, The 300 Pound Vegan, David Carter, Kathy Patalsky of the vegan blog Healthy Happy Life, and Jackie Sobon, founder of the vegan blog Vegan Yak Attack, with more partners to be added. Each participating partner will work with Veestro to develop a signature dish for the meal delivery program, with each shipment including the guest’s bio and recipe card for customers to reference for future home-cooking. Partners will also have a presence on the Veestro website within a new Q&A Series hosted on the Veestro blog.
